Soaking in the bath after a hard day’s work is a luxury. Nothing can calm those nerves faster than a long soothing bath. Soaking in a bath can be made an even more pleasurable by adding some simple ingredients.

Here are some things that can be added to our bath that make your experience like a dream come true:

1. Essential Oils

You can make your bath a treat by adding essential oils like coconut, olive oil or even almond oils. These oils will nourish your skin from within and make it silky smooth.

2. Milk

They said that Cleopatra bathed in milk. She was said to have complexion as creamy as milk. Let the benefits of milk that include its fat, vitamins and proteins nourish your skin and keep it soft and supple.

3. Bath salts

Bath Salts are a natural way to exfoliate your skin. Simply add a cup full of bath salts to your prepared tub and enjoy the soak that will make your skin fell rejuvenated and reborn.

4. Herbs

Herbs are good for cleansing the skin and even relaxing the skin. It soothes the skin and even has a calming and therapeutic effect.

5. Honey

An Ancient remedy for all sorts of things, it can even do wonders to your skin if applied externally. Honey has many anti-bacterial properties and even adds a hint of moisture to give your skin that glow it rightly deserves.

6. Oats

Oatmeal will not only help in exfoliating your skin but it will also nourish your skin and keep it moist and supple.

7. Tea

Tea helps in relaxing and de-stressing. So instead of adding those tea bags to your cup, dip them in your bathtub. Tea has cleansing properties so it might help in killing those toxins present in your skin, if you have any.

8. Apple Cider Vinegar

If you have been frequenting the beach recently then a way to soothe sun burnt skin is to take a dip in water that has a few cupfuls of apple cider vinegar.

9. Baking soda

Baking soda soothes the skin and restores any imbalance in it. So if you have any skin irritations, it might help to take a soak in a baking soda bath.

10. Wine

Wine is known for its anti-aging properties. So take a dip in this expensive luxury to feel the heights of getting pampered.
