DIY Citrus Sea Salt Scrub

Sea salt scrubs are a great way to pamper your skin. They not only scrub away all the dead cells on your skin, they also improve the blood circulation.

Sea salt will help open up your pores and draw out all the toxins and impurities. Since it comes from the ocean, it is rich in natural minerals that soothe and heal the body.

Here is how we can make a citrus sea salt scrub that contains lot more:

What you need:

  1. Lemon (grated including rind) – 2 Tablespoon
  2. Sea salt – 1 Cup
  3. Coconut Oil – ½ Cup
  4. Olive Oil – ½ Cup

How to make it:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and mix well.
  2. Store in an air tight container.
  3. Scrub onto your body using circular motions.

When you scrub with a sea salt scrub do not rub too hard as it will only hurt your skin.

The coconut oil and olive in this scrub ensures that you do not lose out on moisturizing your skin. Both have anti-aging properties and have anti-microbial properties.

The citrus element will cleanse your skin along with adding an extra zing and freshness to your beauty routine.

So do try this natural sea salt scrub to bring your skin back to life. Do not forget to slather on body lotion after you are done using the scrub.
